Yeah he's kind of an eccentric guy, but he makes good videos.

Wow, at least now I know who to go to if I ever want to have a full rebuild on an AMG M275. This guy clearly knows whats up.

I've heard of more than one forum recommending a similar method. It's a bit dangerous if you use a cheap bar or socket and/or are stupid. But otherwise, a lot of people do it this way unless you need to take apart the front end anyways.

I like how he wears kitchen cleaning gloves to work on his car. I understand they are more durable than regular latex gloves, but it still seems a bit odd.

Maybe he is concerned with cancer from used oil?

That or he just wants to keep his hands clean. I usually use regular latex gloves for when I change my oil or am working on some dirty part of the car and inevitably they break and your hands get dirty anyway. Maybe I'll try the kitchen glove approach next time, he may be on to something. Plus the ones with textured palms could make spinning off a dirty oil filter easier.

I have found putting lotion on your hands helps a ton for clean up. Just put it on as normal doesnt have to be thick coating. I think it makes the grease and dirt harder to stick to hydrated skin

After learning about him last year I discovered he lives close by me, in terms of city residence.
